The ladies put on an outstanding performance to defeat league leaders Sevenoaks 6 5 on penalties after drawing 3 3 to reach their first final to be played on 26th April at the Gallagher Stadium
After going a goal down midway through the first half they equalised on the stroke of half time through Abby Hancock
Growing in confidence Gravesham then took the lead midway through the second half when Brooke Hutson converted a penalty .However with only two minutes left in normal time Sevenoaks equalised to take the match into extra time.
With Gravesham struggling with injuries this time it was Sevenoaks that went ahead but with only 6 minutes left a great shot by Imy Saunders came back off the crossbar for Darcey Charlesworth to convert from close range
A penalty shoot out followed but after both teams scored their first five penalties Toni Allen in goal for Gravesham made a crucial save, Toni then stepped up herself to score the winning penalty
A great result and fantastic credit goes to the entire squad, including many who have battled through several rounds to reach this stage, with the final on Tuesday 26th April 7.30 kick off at The Gallagher Stadium
