Gravesham Girls u15’s took on a strong Maidstone Utd team at home on Sunday. Gravesham battled well during the 1st half with their efforts rewarding them by taking the lead midway through the half from Sofia taking a fine shot to the far post. Maidstone equalised in the final seconds of the half and went into break 1 all.
The second half started and Gravesham tried to regain the advantage and pushed for an early goal but as the game became more stretched Maidstone took the lead for the first time in the match, even when Maidstone took more goals Gravesham didn’t give up and battled for every ball until the final whistle.
Gravesham have put in two strong performances in the last two weeks and are playing with belief, confidence and come off the pitch with a smile on their faces.
