A very competitive match on Dartford’s 3G pitch , where Gravesham found several ex players in the opposing team, was played in good spirits
An evenly matched first half saw Dartford take the lead after 20 minutes, but Gravesham equalised 10 minutesa later through Erin
Two goals either side of half time won the game for Dartford, the first a spectacular shot from 25 yards
The Dartfod goalkeeper made several good saves to keep Gravesham at bay, but a performance the ladies could be proud of
Jo as always was excellent in goal, whilst Toni Tillie Enya ,Hollie, Megan and Emma all put in good defensive performances
In midfield , Grace, Claire, Nicole Becky S.Brooke and Hannah all battled hard, whilst Erin and Lucie battled hard up front
The opposition player of the match went to Erin
Despite the defeat, performances are improving each week, and the intergatation of the younger players into the team has been like a breath of fresh air
There is a really positive vibe surrounding the squad and this bodes well for the future
