For the second consecutive match the women found themselves away to a team currently above them in the league table and produced another excellent team performance despite having some key players missing and Claire H suffering a hamstring injury which forced her off the pitch in the early minutes.
Having had the better chances in the first half Gravesham took the lead through Hollie Flynn on her debut with a neat finish from just inside the penalty area.
Gravesham doubled their lead early in the second half when Rachel Stevens took advantage of a defensive error to rifle home from 25 yards.
With only one sub and kicking uphill, Oakwood then replied twice in a fifteen minute spell and a tight match finished even. This was an excellent team effort with everyone playing their part .
