After several months without a match the ladies produced an excellent performance to snatch a win in difficult circumstances ,The game was reduced to 9 a side due to a shortage of platers available, with Long Lane having a number of subs .
Stevie Reece had an excellent match in goal and in a tight game had only a couple of saves to make ,with defenders Lucie, Leah Fionnuala and Emma all playing well
In midfield ,Brooke L,, Brooke H Tilly S (playing in her first match in a number of years ) all played well. whilst Holly battled well upfront on her own,
The match was settled with a header from Holly midway through the second half from an excellent corner from Lucie and despite Long Lane searching strongly for an equaliser the ladies held on,
