A fantastic perfomaece today from Gravesham against league leaders Castle Colts
With only 11 players available the ladies fought for every ball ,defending brilliantly throughout and almost snatching a winner when a superb effort from Erin hit the bar and dropped behind the Castle goalkeeper but was judged not to have crossed the goal line.
With several players completing their first full 90 minutes of the season ,and the whole team stretching themselves to the limit the team showed fantastic determination.
Toni made some outstanding saves in goal, whilst the back four of Lucie ,who made a great goal line clearance in the last minute ,Becky ,Hollie and Fionnuala all working superbly together.
With the midfield and forwards rotating to try to conserve some energy .great work from Hannah ,Broole L. ,Brooke H, Erin ,Emily and Rachael.
Brooke L was awarded player of the match but in truth this was an excellent team performance
