Gravesham Girls and Women FC have partnered with GCLL to encourage more girls aged 5 to 15 to either begin or continue playing football, without the pressure of competitiveness. The Wild Cats and Squad Girls initiatives are tailored to provide girls with the opportunity to enjoy playing football in a safe and enjoyable setting.
The focus is on fostering a love for the game and building confidence, rather than emphasising competition. By creating an inclusive atmosphere, these sessions aim to empower young girls, teaching them valuable skills both on and off the field. Participants can look forward to enjoying the camaraderie of team sports, making new friends, and developing a sense of belonging. With enthusiastic coaches providing guidance and encouragement, every girl is given the opportunity to shine and discover her potential in a supportive setting. Ultimately, the goal is to inspire a lifelong passion for football and to cultivate a positive, active lifestyle.
These sessions will be taking place at Cascades Leisure Centre, Gravesend, Kent, DA12 4LG during term time.
Monday, 4-5pm for 5–9-year-olds.
Monday, 5-6pm for 10 -15-year-olds.
